Payment Information If you pay for our services on the Crosborda websites, we may collect payment information, including credit or debit card number, expiration date, security code, and billing address. Please note that we collect and process all financial information through third-party payment processing providers. As such, we do not retain any personally identifiable financial information in connection with your payments, such as credit card numbers. All such information is provided directly by you to our third-party payment processors or financing providers, and their use of your personal information is governed by their privacy notice.

We use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us, including any personal information of you or any other person whose permission and authority you have to provide for the provision of our services including:

  • To present our websites services and its contents to you.
  • For Business Services. We use and share personal data of representatives with Business Users to provide the Business Services you (or the Business User you are associated with) have requested. In some cases, our Business Service will require us to submit your personal data to a government entity (e.g. incorporating a business). We may use your personal data to file taxes on behalf of your associated Business User. For our Launch business incorporation services, we may use your personal data to submit forms to the IRS on your behalf and to file documents with other governmental authorities (e.g. articles of incorporation in your state of incorporation).
  • To provide you with information, products, or services that you request from us.
  • To fulfill any other purpose for which you provide it.
  • To provide you with notices about your account.
  • To carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, including for billing and collection.
  • To notify you about changes to our Websites or any products or services we offer or provide though it.
  • To allow you to participate in interactive features available on our Websites.

Please note that no mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. We do not sell your personal information. We also never sell or share your email addresses with other companies.

4. Data Retention

We will only keep your Personal Information for as long as necessary to provide you with Crosborda Services and for legitimate and essential business purposes, such as maintaining the performance of the Crosborda Services, making data-driven business decisions about new features and offerings, complying with our legal obligations, and resolving disputes. We keep some of your personal information for as long as you are a user of Crosborda Services.

If you request, we will delete or anonymize your personal information so that it no longer identifies you, unless we are legally allowed or required to maintain certain personal information, including situations such as the following:

  • If there is an unresolved issue relating to your accounts, such as an outstanding credit on your account or an unresolved claim or dispute we will retain the necessary personal information until the issue is resolved;
  • Where we need to retain the personal information for our legal, tax, audit, and accounting obligations, we will keep the necessary personal information for the period required by applicable law; and/or,
  • Where necessary for our legitimate business interests such as fraud prevention or to maintain the security of our users.

5. How We Protect Your Information / Data Security

We take measures designed to protect Personal Information in an effort to prevent the loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These measures include the use of firewalls, password protection, secure socket layer, encryption, and other security measures. All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers.

We limit access to Personal Information to our employees, agents, contractors, and other third parties who have a business need to know. They will only process Personal Information on our instructions, and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality. These Model Clauses are included and incorporated into our Data Protection Addendum. If you are located outside the U.S., the EEA, the U.K., and Switzerland, and you choose to provide Personal Information to us, we may transfer your Personal Information to the U.S. and process it there (or any other country where we operate or may have co-locations) and in accordance with our Data Protection Addendum. You can close your Crosborda Account at any time per the terms set out in our Terms of Service. Closure or deletion of your Crosborda Account will mean that you permanently lose access to the Crosborda Account, personal information, and data associated with the Crosborda Account. Certain personal information or de-identified information associated with your business’s Crosborda Account may nonetheless remain on systems owned or maintained by Crosborda where required to comply with the law or our contractual obligations.

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to collect information about your browsing activities. You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. The Services may contain links to other websites, applications, platforms, and services operated by third parties. We are not responsible for the practices employed by websites or services linked to or from the Services, nor the information or content provided to or contained therein. Crosborda Technologies LLC values the privacy of its users and is dedicated to ensuring that our brand and website are not publicized using unsolicited e-mail messages, also known as spam. We require that all emails promoting Crosborda or its products are sent only to clients who have agreed to receive such messages. We prohibit any advertising of our brand and website using unsolicited email messages.

Any promotion, information, or solicitation that is sent to a person via email without their prior consent, where there is no pre-existing relationship between the sender and the recipient, is unsolicited e-mail or spam. Examples include emails sent to recipients who have opted-out, have no prior association, lack an unsubscribe option, contain false or misleading information, or are sent to harvested email addresses.

Your email address is safe with us. We never sell or share your email addresses with other companies. You can unsubscribe at any time. We require that each email message sent out from Crosborda includes an easy way for subscribers to remove themselves via an unsubscribe link.
